The Netgear N600 DOCSIS 3.0 C3700 cable modem router combines the functionality of a home router, with the necessity of a cable modem for connecting to the Internet. There are two advantages to doing this. One, you save space by only having one device as your home gateway. And two, you save on rental costs because there’s no longer a requirement to rent a modem from your ISP.
