The Medialink MWN-WAPR150N is small compared to other home routers available. It comes in a shiny black finish and looks sleek and compact. Once plugged in, it can be fully set up within 5 minutes using the bundled CD and the EZ Connect software – very intuitive and straight-forward.
What is slightly disappointing was the lack of USB ports, which are really useful for connecting an external hard drive or a USB printer. Also, the lack of 1Gbps ethernet ports is a shame, but at this price, you can’t have it all. Most people will be happy without the USB or Gigabit ethernet ports.
Overall a great router at a bargain price. We recommend it unless you require the features that only a more expensive router can offer.
