The TRENDnet TEW-818DRU AC1900 router. This is TRENDnet’s fastest router to date. It’s their first venture into AC1900 territory. Pitching in towards the budget end of the ultra-router market (around $159 at time of writing), TRENDnet are trying to take a chunk out of the Netgear’s and Linksys’s of this world.

Share With USB 3.0
With it’s USB 3.0 port, the TRENDnet TEW-818DRU is excellent as a source for sharing media. Plug in a USB drive and HD streaming becomes a reality. There’s also a USB 2.0 port for backwards compatibility should you need it. Or perhaps plug in a printer.

Better Coverage – Beamforming
Rather than broadcasting wireless signal in all directions at all times, Beamforming intelligently directs wireless signal to your wireless clients as and when they need it.
